Boston, MA - November 18, 2009 – Control Solutions International is proud to announce that Akshay Bhalla, Partner of Control Solutions International India, has been appointed as the President for the IIA, New Delhi Chapter for the year 2009-10. The announcement was made during the Annual General Meeting held at Civil Services Officers Institute, K.G Marg, New Delhi. Mr. Bhalla has also been nominated to sit on the IIA India Board.
As Partner, Akshay manages Control Solutions International’s growth strategy in the India market with focus on business development, growth, and profitability. He is responsible for managing and growing the portfolio of clients and ensuring successful client service delivery.
Akshay has been part of the IIA New Delhi Chapter Executive Committee for the last two years where he held office of the Treasurer as well as Vice President. When asked about his contributions to IIA, Akshay noted “At a personal level I have contributed to the IA profession by spearheading professional development seminars and demonstrated knowledge leadership. Also I have contributed by significantly growing the membership base to its current strength of 1,100 members”. In his new role as President, Akshay along with his Core Team plans to conduct several events/programs to increase memberships and make the New Delhi Chapter a more vibrant and dynamic entity.
